We are looking to appoint a passionate and dynamic PE Teacher to join our friendly team at Witchford Village College, a part of the Eastern Learning Alliance. Witchford Village College is a successful and expanding 11-16 college covering a rural catchment area close to the beautiful and historic city of Ely, 16 miles north of Cambridge.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students across Key stage 3 and 4, fostering their academic and personal growth, and contributing to the overall improvement and development of the academy.
Due to the specific needs of our PE department, including supervision of female changing areas this post is restricted to female applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum.
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
- Deliver inspiring, research-informed lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Contribute to raising standards of student progress and attainment.
- Ensure a high-quality learning experience for students that meets internal and external quality standards.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to stimulate learning.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress and development.
- Builds strong relationships with students and colleagues
- Engage in continuous professional development.
