We are looking to appoint an exceptional teacher to join our large and high-performing Visual Arts faculty. We would especially welcome applications from candidates who have an interest in teaching Film at GCSE or IB Level.

You will be joining a friendly, creative and collaborative department where staff are highly committed to professional development and collaboration, engaging with the latest pedagogical research. The department have developed an exciting and unique curriculum as part of the IB Middle Years Programme, developing pupils’ practical skills and applying these to real-world situations. Visual Arts subjects are very popular at GCSE, across Film, Fine Art and Photography, and are enjoyed by students across the College. There are also a range of enrichment opportunities on offer, and a wealth of trips to support the curriculum. Visual Arts and Film are both offered as part of our IB programmes in the sixth form and are popular and highly successful.
There will be numerous opportunities to continue developing your teaching practice, through connections a range of in-house and external CPD programmes. You will be well supported in the department by highly experienced colleagues, and have the chance to lead extra-curricular activities based on your interests, including as part of our timetabled enrichment programme, iCAS, which runs in place of lessons on a Wednesday afternoon.
